My Objectives

Boston Police Traffic Division:

Boston Police officers and cadets will be deployed on the streets to direct traffic and enforce traffic regulations, including speeding, stop sign violations, crosswalk encroachment, running yellow lights, blocking intersections, and aggressive driving. Additionally, I propose addressing excessive noise violations from radios or engines, which can create stressful environments for pedestrians, drivers, and residents.

Road Paving Campaign:

The objective is to repave roads with significant potholes or bumps and establish a hotline for reporting areas in need of repair.

Melnea Cass Blvd:

I would assemble a team of addiction and mental health professionals in the Boston area to develop a plan for long-term recovery from addiction and mental health issues, focusing on detoxification, long-term treatment, and life skills. The goal is to help individuals regain stability and purpose, potentially empowering them to assist others facing similar challenges.

Collaboration with Boston Public Schools (BPS)

Boston doesn’t have a Housing Crisis, it has an Education Crisis.

That is one of the main reasons for the housing issues and other issues facing Boston. Education!

Our children deserve better educational facilities. Many schools in Boston are old and in disrepair. We need to devise a long-term strategy to ensure that Boston’s children receive the quality education they deserve. Children should attend schools within their neighborhoods, fostering lifelong friendships and enabling them to walk to school, eliminating morning buses and afternoon buses which would reduce stress and traffic congestion. The only area in Boston with an effective plan is Chinatown/Bay Village, where residents can walk to three schools for grades 1-12 within a mile of their homes. We must maintain the integrity of our exam schools and support our vocational schools and provide our children with a strong educational foundation to prepare them for their future.

Housing Concerns:

I would work with Developers to get their projects permitted and processed as streamlined as possible while maintaining everything is up to code and safe for development. I would suggest that developers work slow and steady creating housing with minimal units that can turn over faster rather than planning for large projects that may finish in 3-5 years.
